An accurate depiction

It's obvious that those involved in this production went to great lengths to make an accurate reflection of the events of the time as well as focussing on character development. The motivation and passion of Peter and Mary and genuinely displayed. It is the type of film in which you really feel brought back in time.

After you saw, it is easy and fair to define it as an experience. Because you are part of story. Because what you know, and you know so wel, you feel. An impressive short film for each detail. For the try and force and succes to propose a different perspective, to be provocative in profound sense, to give the right understad of things, events and facts too far by you , at first sigh. It is a good exploration of the faith of each viewer of it. Not as religion lesson . But as answer to yourself. Sure, you remark the cinematography, and the force of close up and the performances. But The Cross is more than a beautiful film or ambitious project. And that is the most important detail defining it.
