Well it's an improvement over Island Fever, in that this time they let the sounds of people having sex leak through the music. i didn't really need the freaky sci-fi/fantasy set up for the stories. The chick with the steel bone arm talking to the green corpse guy was weird and not sexy, and had nothing to do with the ren fair costume bit where the sex was happening. Tera is beautiful, but she does need to learn to act like she's into what she's doing. If she doesn't start trying harder to look like she's enjoying herself, I'll leave for a less polished but more eager Kylie Ireland. I do enjoy the fact that Tera will not given in to the "all anal, all the time" thing going on in porn. She at this point in her career, wouldn't do lesbian scenes either, which I don't care at all about.

"Couples Only" Erotic Fare.

The cover of the DVD box looked so promising. There is Tera Patrick in some kind of body armor with her generous cleavage showing. She carries a mystical looking sword and in the background a dragon is spitting out flames making the hilt of the sword look like a flaming torch.
On the back cover of the DVD package are various scenes with her in costume and different shots of castles and dragons. "Forbidden Tales" looks like Heavy Metal Magazine married with pornography. But when we actually pop in the DVD and watch the video we are subjected to Tera Patrick as some kind of android with a metallic hand and forearm who is telling some CGI created character who is apparently an invalid stories with a fantasy bent.
The concept was great but the execution was lacking. The stories were pretty much brief set ups for different erotic encounters with Tera Patrick in almost all the scenes. I also found myself wondering who the audience for this was supposed to be. Certainly not male viewers who like to see men with a variety of women and not one woman with a variety of men. Especially pretty boys. At best "Forbidden Tales" would have a "couples appeal" which really means that it is pretty lame pornography that is tamed down for the female sensibility of the couple.
I also thought that Tera Patrick, despite her astonishing beauty, is pretty lame as a sex performer.
I have not seen her in anything else but if this particular video demonstrates her talent I'd have to say she is pretty over rated.

Ignore what anyone else says Tera Patrick is hot hot hot the scenes in this movie are certainly not her best but she is just screwing ya know and enjoying it. The wrap around movie is really stupid, I mean who the hell thought it up were they on drugs or something? Whats with the green cgi dude dying on a bed? like as if we care anyways just fast forward to watch what Tera does best, gets guys to come
There are three scenes in this movie with Tera one in a prison cell one where she is in stocks and one just outside in a village square by a well in fact, there are two more scenes with other girls but there ugly so I'm not mentioning them. the scenes with Tera are all set in the middle ages in Britain. why? don't ask me, I guess someone gave em access to a middle age set which wasn't being used. In each scene with Tera she does her thing with one young lucky fella (a different fella in each scene)in the scenes in this movie however it must be noted how long it takes for her clothes to actually come off. This does add to the sexual tension because there is lots of kissing and rubbing and cuddling before the actual action begins. all in all Teras scenes are great forget the rest of the movie though, this is much better than island fever 3. not as good as some of her earlier stuff though where she was really enjoying herself and not acting so hard.
