Ramoooooooone, get the buttery popcorn in the cardboard tub
jester-3024 January 2007
Ramoooooooone, get the buttery popcorn in the cardboard tub (and this time, be sure to cut the hole in the bottom and...). Yep, this is yet another film staring Little Jimmy Norton, famed third member of the Opie & Anthony duo. He was great in Lucky Louie - he's hilarious here. Really, a great Indy comedy that will warm your little heart. If you like your comedy a little skewed and ain't afraid to get down and dirty, well Jim's your man. I picked this up after accidentally bumping into it at a convention. It's good to see it's finally gotten a big-budget release and distribution deal and can be found at Walmart and everywhere. Go get one. And tell the store, "Thanks for the Fruuuuunkisssssss!"

Clever Little Movie
ssparenti9 January 2005
A friend loaned me the DVD, I thought this was a clever little movie - and quite funny, too.

The premise is simple enough, an unusual group of amateur thieves try to steal valuable stamps and things go wrong. But what I like most about the film is the unusual dialogue and the clever twists and turns of the plot. The characters are clearly drawn and quite likable, I found myself laughing at the characters' interactions with one another throughout the film. The acting was also very good, especially the postman who plans the heist and the woman with the gun. Although my friend recommended the film, I didn't know any of the actors and didn't expect to be engaged in the film, which I was, and I was surprised and satisfied by the ending, which, looking back on the film, I probably should have figured out. Definitely worth watching if you can find it.....

Great Comedy!
bfedoroc22 June 2004
I went to the free screening of the movie "Errors, Freaks and Oddities" at the Bayonne Library. I came to see the movie mostly because it was filmed in Bayonne and I wanted to see how Bayonne was depicted in this film. I had seen other films that did not do Bayonne justice.

Well, I was totally surprised with "Errors, Freaks and Oddities." It was a great film! I laughed through the entire film; there wasn't a dull moment to be had. The actors and actresses were just fantastic....as a matter of fact I just came back from the "EFO" site after reading all their bio's.

I loved the "Jackie Gleeson" style cop, and the old sleeping guard, as well as Sol Solzberg played by Charlie Callas. I hadn't seen this fine comedian in quite a while. Viola Harris who played Mrs. Tableroni held the whole cast together with her wit and enthusiasm. Jim Norton who played Paul couldn't have been better as the nervous and later, comatose mailman. As a matter of fact, all the performances were great...these were just my personal favorites. I am recommending this film to my friends.

excellent film ... the cover says it all.. take a look at this cheeky boy .. he'll tell you one thing .. but wait a second because that cheeky face of his will throw you a curve ball! Really a great piece of American media, it'll boil your brain with conundrums and brain busters leaving you shinkling about what you just witnessed for days to come! the best way to view the film is to watch for 5 seconds and yell "PAUSE!" and then interject with nothing of substance.. this is the greatest movie since private parts although this is a blatant rip off of howard's film croo-hoo-hooks ... as sib hashian would do, and say, put on an all black ensemble and disappear into your black leather couch, grab your favorite beverage, sit back and enjoy pure gold (although this video is much better than sibby's where it was just a dashcam driving around to a terrible manch vegas band's song
