I did not know this French social drama from the early seventies and describing the daily life and struggle of a factory blue collar. It describes in a very accurate and realistic way what his life looks like. It is a terrific social analysis of this period. It shows the trade union concerns about the workers motivations, their fear to keep and not lose their jobs, in opposition of their growing need for comfort, instead of fighting to save what they gained in the past. It explains that they have families and in the same time fight for their rights. Yes, it is like a documentary, played by non professional actors and that's even more powerful. In this story, there is question of a new machine in the factory, a new machine which maybe will reduce the factory staff needs...
