Harry Baur and Mistinguett in Paris in 1916, both living a double life in the square areas and the nasty ones. Harry Baur is very astonishing in a punchy character, I never saw him like that in the thirties. Everybody play natural, without the usual emphasis of that silent period. And you see all kind of old and forgotten Paris, from center to slums. Very unusual, glad to discover this rare gem. Two more to discover in the DVD box
