This is a strong three-part picture drama with a military flavor. Working upon the weakness of an American officer, a foreign spy almost succeeds in obtaining valuable papers, which he thinks the man's rival is carrying. In the end right triumphs, and, jumping over the cliff, the traitor commits suicide. The acting is well done and the many scenes finely photographed. The director deserves credit for his exceptional work. - The Moving Picture World, September 26, 1914
