Nice adaptation

It's a nice adaptation of the French book Little Prince. It focuses much more on Little Prince's backstory and less on the relationship between him and the pilot, which in my opinion is a good idea.

I also read the book and yea, there are some elements, that are not added in this movie (such as the tippler, the danger of baobabs and some little details), but it still has important parts.

The adult characters are great and they're quite good at their representation as the adults in real life. My favorite character in this movie is the fox. She is kind and she teaches the Little Prince a wonderful lesson.

In my opinion, the designs of each adult planet in the book don't look interesting. But in this movie, Theo Kerp was more creative and give them unique looks. The animation is solid, but maybe sometimes limited, such as the train animation.

For the voiceacting, I can't find the English one, so I'll talk about the Slovenian one and... yea it's passable. They're not boring and they match the characters you think they would sound.

The music in this movie is my favorite part. They're composed beautifully and they match the tone of this movie. A lot of them are serious but there are some cheerful.

At the end, the music is memorable in my opinon.

Overall it's a nice harmless movie. Sure it has some issues, but they're not noticable. Maybe at the start. It's a nice adaptation of the book and it's one of the great works of Theo Kerp. And I rate this one 8/10.

The best Little Prince movie

Warning: Spoilers
Of all The Little Prince adaptations I have seen, I think this is the one closest to the spirit of the original book, having the same kind of bittersweet melancholy which permeates several passages from the novella.

The soundtrack feels oddly ominous in a couple of moments, giving an eerie feeling to rather innocuous scenes, but it was effective anyway.

As for the animation, without being incredible, is serviceable enough, helped by the simple but stylish designs.

The heavy faithfulness to the source material made this a rather enjoyable experience, with just a few minor omissions.

Deserves more recognition. And I think those viewers disappointed with the 2015 film probably should give this a try.
