Good actors, good script, badly shot.

This film starts out far to slow, the first half hour is painful. The film gets better with stellar performances by Shaun Johnston (Jacob) and his younger counterpart Miles Meadows (Zana). Both gave chilling performances that could have been explored so much more had the camera not been 50 miles away from the actors.

The other actors were good too but I'm a sucker for bad guys and for Miles. I gave the flick a 7 cause Miles in dear hide is always a plus and Chris (Yoshi) was super cute. I taped this off movie central a while ago, I don't know if you can rent it, if you can I haven't found it.

A fairly low budget movie that is definitely worth looking for too pass the time.

A great stylish movie about the usually forgotten world of doomsday cults. The acting - most of the time that is, is powerful and convincing. The movie accurately develops in a way that you can really understand how these people would become convinced in not questioning their leader. While it's one of those movies that only a very few people well ever get there hands on, as I was lucky myself too find it showing on a movie channel (one of the channel's that sponsored the movie). Kind of strange too see the Government of Canada sponsoring this movie, as it may be viewed as a "politically incorrect" movie too someone. Although I think it's safe too say it was simply sponsored too advertise the beautiful Canadian wilderness. All in all, if you are interested in the very hushed up subject of cults. Definitely try too find a way too watch this one.
