This is a fascinating film by a student director that shows how well a movie can be made on a low budget if the director has a keen eye for detail and subtleties and an obsession for maximizing the cinematic experience. "Jenny" won the Academy Award for Best Student Film for good reason. It is a film-school masterpiece that became an entree for the director's subsequent Hollywood career.
