The author of this bright little farce deserves good credit. It has been well produced in every way and, with its spontaneous fun, quite took the audience into camp. The would-be, but now disgraced, deputy sheriff follows the escaped convict, who has put on his sweetheart's cloak, and makes a heroic capture, which rehabilitates him in the good graces of her father, the sheriff. - The Moving Picture World, March 15, 1913
