An Iconoclast!

Jasoos Vijay was ahead of it's time, it was so good, one can't believe.

BBC is behind it after all. So, indeed it's above comparison to other contemporary serials.

The AIDS angle may not ahve worked for the TRP/popularity, either way for arts sake, it was a stunning thriller, gripping and full of suspenss.

It's a pure realistic action/adventure with enough drama for people of any age alike to get stimulated by equally adept writing.

Adil Hussain is so real, an exquisite performance, quite the charmer too.He deserves a lot more accolades, fame and oppurtunity.

A must watch!

Jasoos Vijay, sounds like another detective serial and that too on DD. But this time around there is BBC as a co-producer which helps in making this program world class. the story line is wonderful, really keeps U guessing who the criminal is, even gets 'U' a chance to participate and become a winner and the winner gets a chance to act with 'Mr. Om Puri'. Thats not all, along with crimes and murders the team of Jasoos Vijay, his wife and 2 colleagues successfully try to make people aware of Hiv/Aids, dowry problem etc. It is not at all preachy and the viewer doesn't even realise that he/she has not only come a step further in becoming a sleuth but also learnt how to live with people affected with Aids. Regular viewers are eagerly waiting to know whether Jeet successfully proposes Parvati or not. Even if U missed out previous episodes U will still be able to grasp the meaning.
