This is the only Rigo Mora short I was able to find in Youtube.
Mora was a Mexican animator from Jalisco who died in the year 2009; he was very close friend of Guillermo del Toro. Recently, del Toro has created an animation award in his honor.
A shame the work of this animator still remain obscure to this day; "Sombras" has both an interesting visual style and poetical plot. The only thing I'm not entirely sure about it's the soundtrack, which sounded like something from a 60s movie. Maybe that was intentional, but in my opinion, the music didn't fit the story being told here. That being said, this is a neat animation, and I kinda wish there was any way to see the rest of the work done by this underrated filmmaker.
