A documentary about Chilean History.
AshWCFL2 May 2005
This film is a great documentary about Chilean history. Through political history and personal memories the viewer can actually grasp what it may have been like to go through such a horrible experience, such as the Battle of Chile. A look back at the Chilean times of assassination and torture during the assassination of President Allende. This history is shown through the stories of five women of different ages and nationalities who were all affected by these horrors in some way.Marilu Mallet uses historical footage mixed with current interviews with different women who simply tell their stories which turn out to be extraordinary. This is a great film and if you are interested in or studying Latin American History this film is perfect for you.
