Very good western drama!

This was a cool film and I'm pleased that I have this DVD. I urge any Western fans to get this one because you will not be disappointed. I also found this one to be good because the Natives here were portrayed as actual human beings rather than "savages". I liked how the love triangle between Sam, Dante and Sarah all shaped out. That made the story very interesting.

Ever since 1990's "Dances with Wolves", I've noticed an interesting pattern in films where Natives have been portrayed as actual humans rather than the racist stereotypical view of the stoic, noble savage. Of course, in real life, there was NEVER such thing as the "stoic, noble" Native person since none of them ever existed in that way. It's just that people have always been brainwashed into thinking that was Natives really were and it hasn't until been very recently that the mainstream is FINALLY changing their way of thinking.
