Gracefully funny and intelligent short
alexalcan-118 July 2004
If the viewer is just expecting a good time for five minutes, this movie isn't a bad idea. Supporting the silly yet engaging premise (there is a beautiful girl up Calvario alley, whose gas has run out before she finished bathing, and Gerundio wants to be the gas delivery man to aid her) is the marvelous Goofy acting on behalf of both actors, particularly Emilio Guerrero (Quintin) and constant metaphorical puns: the name of the very steep alley he has to climb in order to reach his surely undressed damsel (it means "suffering"), his own name and a basic Christian allegory I won't spoil for everybody here. Congratulations to the whole staff for enjoyable sketch - movie, including the volunteering extras, like Mr. Nucas, not casted here.
