A very cute little short. Obviously created in a workshop-type environment, nevertheless, In His Kiss is well done. The film has it all = an interesting story, good performances, and a variety of scenes -all of which keep the viewer intrigued: An attractive young woman is going to marry an African Prince new to the United States. The Prince's culture does NOT allow kissing much to the chagrin of the hot-blooded, American bride-to-be. She attempts to provoke the kiss in a variety of ways...In His Kiss alludes to many different possibilities and moves quickly; the viewer is not entirely sure where things are going. When the payoff comes, we're all in on the joke...very funny and not what it seems, In His Kiss is the kind of short people would love prior to a big feature in the theater instead of all those annoying commercials and previews...
