This 39 minute and 40 second documentary can be found on the disc 2 of the Two-Disc Special Edition DVD of Purple Rain, it features interviews with pretty much everyone involved in the movie except Prince himself (Although not surprisingly, as he hates Warner Brothers). Anyway the topics of what the non-actors went through to get the film on the screen, the cultural impact of the movie, the casting, and just the basic genesis of the great film. The featurette was extremely intriguing and highly watchable for any true fan of what is one of the best musical movies ever.
