OK, so you've heard of this RPG that is chapter-based and has to do with Mega Man. How can that be, you ask? Wasn't Mega Man strictly a platform character? (Aside from Battle Network, of course) Well, Mega Man X and his partner Zero encounter something major in Giga City, something that couldn't be covered in a simple platform game.
Now, let me just tell how good this game really is. You can't really compare it to any other RPG, just because of the uncommon battle system alone. X, Zero, and Axl make a return, and in addition, you get 4 new terrific characters to use. The NPCs are corny and predictable at times, but the bosses and villains are true mechanical sights to behold. The graphics are well done, and the new techno-feel music suits the Mega Man legacy well. Not to mention the voice actors, who, thankfully have all been replaced from the abysmal "Mega Man X7" with real studio professionals. Fans of the popular anime "G Gundam" will recognize some voices they hear! All in all, Command Mission is not to be overlooked by RPG fans just because it has to do with Mega Man. Not to give away too many spoilers, but the storyline doesn't have much to do with the previous X games. So even if you're a hardcore RP gamer, but not a fan of Mega Man, get involved anyway! Command Mission is not to be missed.
