I enjoyed Brad Armstrong's erotic drama, but its overall effect was spoiled by the annoying overacting of Randy Spears in the central role. Spears was Brad's go-to actor for many years, but needed stronger direction to curb his excesses, if not his enthusiasm.
He plays a voyeur and supposedly harmless stalker, doing lots of Rear Window action with his binoculars regarding neighbor Jessica Drake. She eventually catches on, but with almost slapstick humor to his behavior the movie wavers toward failed comedy mid-way through, barely able to continue the story once his fetish is out in the open.
Drake is far better in creating her role of an actress/model, working for uncredited Shelby Stevens (makeup artist for the movie). Several fine actresses are in the supporting cast, including Roxanne Hall as a hooker plus busty talent Nikki Benz and Shay Sights. Brad himself appears as a theater director who Brad the movie director assigns a sexy threesome scene to perform.
Ending, which continues during the end credits, tries to be clever but fails.
