Lacks conviction in some respects
deickemeyer13 November 2017
This story is not essentially new, and lacks conviction in some respects, but it is consistent and well acted. The young railroad man, after being discharged for taking a drink on duty, conspires with three others to wreck a train. He recognizes his daughter on the train just as he is about to explode the dynamite and refuses to blow up the bridge. The action in the beginning is rather slow, but later becomes more animated. Good photography helps the reel very much. - The Moving Picture World, September 20, 1913
