Amazingly funny narration makes this a winner

Before you read any of the reviews, you might want to read the trivia section. Apparently, this film was made over a couple days and many of the "stars" were ordinary people--not actors. These facts make this wonderful little short film even more amazing.

As for the film, Brad Whitman is an unemployed jerk who looks about 30-35 years old and lives with his parents. Despite having every reason to hate his life, Brad talks to the audience to explain his "system". While he has no money, he's always got a lot to eat--thanks to an internet dating service. On his profile, he indicates he's a millionaire and he hates women who just want him for his money. He suggests that for the date, they just go on a nice picnic in the park--a picnic that the lady provides. If it works out well, he's able to get a few more free meals until they realize he's a parasite and tell him to get lost! Late in the film, he meets the lady of his dreams. Why she is so perfect and their story is by far the best part of the film. Most of this is due to the amazingly funny delivery and dialog by Pat Towne as 'Brad'. In fact, Towne is so winning and wonderful that you the writer, Greg Benson come off as geniuses.

Funny, clever and engaging--this is one terrific film.

"Free Lunch"

Warning: Spoilers
What a nice , refreshing little short film. It's narrated by the perspective view of the main character, 'Brad Whitman' played wonderfully by Pat Towne. He's a unemployed guy who lives with his parents and does not really have a penny to his name but has somehow found out a "system" to con single woman to give him a free lunch on a daily basis!

He runs his con-game on woman after woman until he meets "Kristi" played by the super talented Cree Summer. With 'Kristi' he has found a kindred spirit and falls in love, especially since she figured him out right away! And she confesses she just got out of rehab and is on parole for holding-up a 7-11 at knife-point when she was extremely high!

All in all very well done for a film filmed at 7 minutes. Nice job!
