You know, this is what small, low budget animations are about

Warning: Spoilers
I saw the film in London in 2005 as part of the international animation festival and have to say that it clearly stood out against most of the other entries. Sure, it has a studenty look to it and you can almost tell when the director must have run out of time to give certain shots the final polish, but in a way that is exactly what I came to see, work that comes out of an innocent, unbiased mind, something complex and so pure in its intentions that it made be wobble in my seat. Don't get me wrong, this is not the most amazing short you will ever see, neither will most people agree with me, but this is a genuine piece of work, impressive for a student and quirky enough to stand out. The story is fun, the visuals are pretty damn good and the low quality music and sound effects add to the festival atmosphere. It is put together and presented like a real film, like a feature, and for a moment here and there you believe it, it transfers from a student animation into a feature film (and back) and you feel comfortable witnessing it. None of the other animations could provide that, and thats why this get 9/10, for the joy I had watching it!
