The nephew's money
bkoganbing8 August 2017
This episode of 77 Sunset Strip finds both Efrem Zimbalist and Robert Logan out in a really rural area of the state hired by Diane Brewster to find out what has happened to her husband. She suspects foul play. She runs a rather rundown tourist camp that a lot of people were looking to purchase for some reason. When Stu Bailey arrives on the scene the property goes off market at least temporarily and a lot of people aren't happy.

One of them is Walter Sande who is the administrator of a large estate for his nephew Douglas Lambert. He's rather free with that money and a bit greedy as well.

It all connects with the death of Brewster's husband. Key performance in this story is that of Lambert who has no idea how wealthy he is and has been told he's a jinx and a fool all his life.

Another triumph for the Bailey/Spencer team.
