This story just was not that interesting.

In this episode, that is narrated by Little Pete, it is a look back on New Year resolutions that were made and never accomplished. Little Pete's resolution was to change the world by purchasing a Riley Reto-Fire Jetpack that was featured in back of a comic book. If only Pete could harness the power of the jet-pack then he could change the world for the better. But he needed $456.98, which he did not have, in order to purchase the item.

So Pete along with his big brother Pete went on a job hunting spree. They came up with the idea of detecting land mines in people's yard for a fee. But when Big Pete's see Ellen, his hormones kick into action and he is off the work detail. Now Little Pete is going to have to get the money, plus change the world, on his own.

For some reason this episode was not as entertaining as others. When reviewing why the show was lacking, it all comes down to the story. The story about the jet-pack nor the crossing guard just did not stir much interest. Plus the way the story ended really did not solve the problem so it felt like the entire program was for naught. I am a big fan of the series but this one episode was lacking.
