Robin and Friar Tuck are escorting the young Prince Arthur and his mother to the safety of the King of France.
Unfortunately they hit a stumbling block along the way. He is the Jacques, the Bandit of Brittany, the self styled Robin Hood of France.
He plans to hold Prince Arthur for ransom and does not care that he might endanger the young boy's life.
As Jacques brother is held in prison. Robin Hood has to reveal himself to Jacques. He proposes to help Jacques and rescue his brother from prison.
The Black Death gives Robin an idea. Both he and Jacques go to prison pretending to be doctors with an outbreak occurring. It might be the only way as the prison is well guarded.
A nice frothy romp and I pity the poor stuntman that had to dive into the river.
