Fine performance from Cliff Robertson in this tale about naughty and rotten politics case, where a politician whose ambition is to become governor is suddenly threatened by the presence of a blackmailer. It's a true terrific little drama, unfortunately too short in this only twenty five minutes length. It would have deserved a full time big screen movie. But this scheme has already been told before. It's nevertheless a good and solid story where, I repeat, Robertson and David Brian both shine. Brian was in downhill career whilst Robertson was uphill...Mary Murphy's performance contribute too in this good TV episode directed by Elliott - Cat Ballou - Silverstein.
Don't miss it. It's a little TV gem unfortunately forgotten.
