Archie makes a deal with an old Jewish man

Archie wants to make an investment with Jewish watchmaker Bernstein on a new invention.
Bernstein( played by character actor Jack Gilford) comes up with a remote control door bell ringer. There are not many laughs in this one though Gilford is amusing singing "If I Were A Rich Man". The episode suddenly turns serious with Bernstein dying in the Bunker home. It seemed pretty pointless and Archie and Edith's incredibly somber reaction is strange since they hardly knew the man. It may just be another case of trying to soften Archie's character, which is not good for this comedy show.
