This is good one it's not a favorite of mine but it's a good watch. This tale could of easily of been an episode of "Tales from the Cryptkeeper" as it's an E.C. comics tale for kids.

Not much to say like in any E.C. comics tale the antagonist the younger brother Sam, he is just a character you plain hate. I'll admit there were times I really wanted to just punch this kid, he' s that bad. He is such an obnoxious spoiled selfish a......, with a capital A, what really bothers me about him is this kid has the mentality that he can get away with anything and has no empathy to other people. Not just from steeling his older brother Mike's money he worked long and hard for to buy a gift for his mother while the young brother never worked a day in his life. But he even evades picking up after himself and goes to watch TV, while the older brother must do it all and watch nothing, lazyass.

Mike is a character we really sympathize with as he's just a regular guy that just wants to get though the day. But unfortunately, he is just constantly getting crap canned by his little s... of a brother. We see a partial cause for the mentality as the mom is somewhat oblivious toward Sam's behavior but worst of all is much too leanent on him because Sam is younger than Mike. I remember thinking so fraking what, just because your younger than a sibling doesn't give you a free pass in life nor make you above the law, the mom really didn't do Sam favors.

Of course, as they say about Karma what goes around comes around. And it came around on Sam hard and it is just satisfying. That was always one of the joys in the E.C. Comics was you routed for the monsters to give the perpetrators what they deserve. Really like the Clown effects and look of the clown which is creepy mainly from those glowing jeweled eyes which just light up crimson malice, it's not quite on the same level as Pennywise in my book but close.

And we see the clown work it's black magic by terrorizing Sam, as a kid it was a little scary but at the same time satisfying, I remember thinking "Yeah Crimson Clown, make it last". It just goes to show why you really should be considerate toward others but also how actions do have consequences and if were not careful those consequences could be dire.
