A curious case for Baretta, a curious but not uninteresting although. A cop is killed in a liquor store during a simple robbery. Then a suspect is arrested, but is he the real murderer? The police officer shot in the line of duty was married to a female officer who is also a Baretta's good friend. The most curious and interesting in this story is the fact that it is told with flash back within flashback. Let me explain, the episode begins with the lead female suicide, the cop widow, who left a letter to Baretta where she explains the whole thing. Such a scheme is a premiere for this series. But it works, it changes. A worth seeing episode.
