A taxi driver is assaulted outside a club, prime suspect is a Polish taxi driver he'd clashed with the night before over a pinched customer.
I didn't like this one if I'm honest, I can't think of any other reason, than just it being a story I couldn't take to, it does its best to be intriguing, and to deliver a twist, but somehow it just misses the mark, I found the setup a little silly, the characters just didn't feel very realistic.
The story was somewhat all over the place, it lacked cohesion, even the ending just seemed so random, and so abrupt.
Simon really was a little too over the top, I like Cottle, but this guy, had me on edge.
It does boast a terrific cast though, Ralph Ineson, Sarah Smart and Matthew Cottle, I can't help but feel they all deserved a more lively story.
Compared to recent episodes, this was poor, 5/10.
