There is a lot of useless stuff going on in this episode.

This episode centers around the Jessie James group of years ago. What has happened is Jessie James has buried a treasure of money and made a map. He tore the map into four pieces and they were to all get back together later and locate the money. But Jessie James is dead and Max McCreary in jail.

When Max is released from jail, another one of the gang members is killed. This just leaves Max and another man, Bob Kent. Kent returned to the scene knowing that Max would be returning. But it appears that Kent, who came to the area since he knew Max would return, is helping the Judge locate the money. And when Max takes the last piece of the map from Kent and ties up Bill Jr, Calamity and the Judge it looks like Max will get want he has been waiting for.

There is kind of a semi-plot that has a friend of Bill's accused of killing the man that Max killed but that story was more of a time filler than an interesting story. As hard as the writers tried to connect the two stories together, it really took time away from the interesting story about the hidden money. There is a lot of action in this episode but much was unnecessary and added nothing to the story. After some good episodes, this one was not strong. Just an average watch.
