It's Christmas time, and times are hard at le Château Anglais, Janice persuades Gareth that the restaurant has to open, she also persuades her husband that a cheaper range of Turkeys are the only viable option.
It's obvious that the first series was a success, a Christmas special followed, and it's a good one. The struggling restaurant needs to open, and bring in funds, there was a definite touch of realism about this show.
It captured the spirit of Christmas, everyone pulling together offering help and support. There is a lovely scene where Gareth serves his team, a lovely moment.
It looks terrific, with Henry looking as dishy as one of his plates.
Excellent. 8/10
