I am a good - but not great - fan of Moulin, and I admit that the first episodes were a bit lame, slow, predictable. With this one, we find out something new, but something that we'll often find in the following episodes; not too often though, but often enough to be noticed. The first time that Moulin deals with a big shot, the underworld. It could have been better however, because Jean Franval is maybe not the best choice for this role of an escaped convict, and during the seventies, "faces" concerning gangsters and other villains of all kinds were galore in the French movie and Tv industry. Why not Michel Constantin or Andre Pousse - two great heavy characters actors who have never been hired for a Moulin episode; such a shame. So, to summarize, this one saves some good surprises, and this will resume later in the deries, till 2008.
