Encountering the Encounter Group
JordanThomasHall8 April 2019
Tina relays to Tom that her encounter group feels she and Norman should have a talk with him about their relationship. The group thinks Tina and Norman should commit to a serious relationship, but he is giving off confusing signals that perhaps Tom could read. Tom agrees to have the talk with his co-working couple and the encounter group at his apartment. Through talk therapy the group diagnoses Tina really is in love with Tom instead. Tom, Norman and Tina are all shocked by the revelation. Tina tells Tom she indeed thinks she loves him. A nervous Tom agrees to have dinner with Tina to talk over the matter. He hopes to talk her out of her feelings. She becomes enamored with every little new detail she can find about Tom ("I didn't know you didn't speak French") and furthers her feelings for him. The encounter group comes calling again for another meeting- where Tom plots his own course of action.
