Don't wait for a classical court drama, it more complex that it could be. It's so rare a story about a judge as the main character. This short story gives us an offbeat and surprising picture, nearly the study of the problems a judge, a court judge, may encounter especially with teens. But although I found this fine, I expected a little more from it, a little more dramatic...Anyway, Dick Basehart gives here one powerful performance, no doubt about that, folks. Besides, I don't think that many judges would behave the way Basehart's character does in this episode. Not my favourite from the Dick Powell show, but you can try it if you can.
