This installment of "The F.B.I." is one of the better ones--thanks to a very chilling villain. The story begins in an art museum. Amazingly enough, a thief (J.D. Cannon) in broad daylight steals a painting...attacking a guard to make his getaway. While this robbery might seem a bit simple, the escape sure isn't...as he has an intricate plan. However, his plans are thrown for a loop when he bumps into a lonely lady (Antoinette Bower)...or, rather, she bumps into him. Now someone might recognize him...so the thief decides to date the lady to try to figure out what she knows and if allowing her to remain alive is practical!
J.D. Cannon was excellent as a no-nonsense crook--cold, calculating and believable. Because of this, the threat to the unsuspecting lady seems very real and it makes for a very suspenseful show. Well worth seeing.
