"Ordeal" is an episode of "The F.B.I." that is highly reminiscent of the classic French film "The Wages of Fear". In the film, a down-and-out guy agrees to drive a truck filled with nitro down some very craptastic roads. Well, in this TV episode, a down and out guy also is transporting nitro....but it's a much stronger variety and it's bound for communist revolutionaries in South America. In the process of transporting the stuff, Inspector Rhodes ends up helping drive the stuff!!
This is a tense episode but with very few surprises apart from how bloodthirsty the baddies are in this one. Well made...but try to see "The Wages of Fear" as well.
