It's interesting that this episode of "The F.B.I." stars Linda Day and Christopher George, as only three months after the episode aired the two were married....and she was renamed Linda Day George. Perhaps this episode is what brought them together...who knows?
The episode begins with two gangsters illegally crossing from Canada to the US. It seems that Peter Tenney is wanted for his involvement with organized crime and he's been hiding outside the USA for two years. But a feud with his brother (Peter Mark Richmond), who now runs the crime family, has been brewing ad Peter is back for a showdown. And, if this occurs, it might split this organized crime family apart...and result in a mob war. The FBI wants to stop this if possible...as well as get the goods on these mobsters.
This is a very tense episode. It also has some really great guest stars. In addition to George, Day and Richmond (all very good and familiar TV stars of the era), Anthony Caruso is on hand...and he looked and acted like the stereotypical mob boss...just perfect for the role. All in all, nothing to complain about here....a well executed and exciting show.
