This is the first episode of the long-running Quinn-Martin series, "The FBI". The guest stars in this one include Jeffrey Hunter as an escaped prisoner (Francis Jerome) and Dina Merrill as a lady who seems to be on the make for Inspector Erskine (Efram Zimbalist Jr.). In fact, instead of the episode centering on the criminal, it's mostly on the attempted romance by Merrill's character, though the stoic Erskine isn't buying it. Why and what is Erskine's hangup? See the show.
As I mentioned above, this episode focuses more on romance than crime...and that is very odd for the series and is NOT typical for the show. Still, despite being different in nature, it's well acted and engaging.
