Good Cop, Bad Cop (#5.15)

Warning: Spoilers
The story idea for Eddie was really good. An important topic that should be brought up to kids, done in a very emotional way with many good lines and some pretty good acting

Carl talking to the other cops was a wonderful scene. It evokes anger in one and I was also wondering hoe bad it must have been in the 90's. I also liked the words he said to the young cop who wanted to make a difference, one sees that there might be a change. But a good thing is that they still didn't make it to look as an easy problem to solve.

The dentist story was not something I liked, |I hate dentist and Richie is a boring character

How serious we are,all of a sudden

VelJohnson and McCrary are both great in this episode. The problem is that this was a serious topic within a show that tended not to be very serious. This was a show where you could believe nobody notlced racial differences. Suddenly, racial issues were being showcased. When Carl confronts the "bad" cop, he is so intense, that it's disconcerting. This is the same guy we would soon see step out of Steve's trans chamber as a nerd. Worthy subject matter, but Family Matters wasn't the best forum for it.
