Time for Tattoo too

The only real notable aspect of this episode is that Tattoo introduces a fantasy he personally granted for the "Mr. Tattoo" segment, obviously, and I think this was the first time this happened, although it could've happened in later episodes. This weak segment stars Barbi Benton(2nd of 8 total episodes), Connie Stevens, Fred Grandy, and Troy Donahue. There's some painful songs played and danced to, even one with Tattoo AND Mr. Roarke together. It just didn't work for me, I'm sorry to say, and their forced marriages seemed too unrealistic. The other, and much better story, stars Burt Convy as a doctor whose fantasy is to build a huge medical complex, with the proper funding, of course; Nancy Kwan and Trisha Noble also star. Everything seems to go as planned, as Dr. Carlson(Convy)has a major meeting set up with a financial adviser, but something occurs that causes the doctor to alter plans. Convy's performance is easily the most redeeming aspect of this entire episode, but I still have a hard time recommending this to a fan.

Warning: Spoilers
I'll start off by saying any crappy Fantasy Island is better than most the garbage on TV. My buddy Stones up there reviewed this episode right. IT was predictable, and one of those episodes where the whole show is just a fun ride to make you feel happy at the end. The brilliant thing would be have a cruel twist like they do now but they didn't do that back then and we wouldn't be happy.

Last week was Halloween, so the channel was playing old Munsters instead of Fantasy island so its been two weeks. Didn't know watching the show could be a fixation. I'm still spoiled by how 3 weeks ago they ended the last season Mr Belevedere episodes with Lawerance. This episode had Tattoo who i realized i cant stand anymore. I barely understand him, he seems to be a sex crazed pervert and he offers very little to the show. Add that he is making two hot woman's fantasy's , its too much. So these two women want to meet millionaires and marry them. Then Tattoo puts them on a Broadway show he is making to have them meet rich millionaire donors to the show. But they fall in love it seems with the two guys directing the show. When the brown haired girl says the piano guys glasses that fall down make him hot, i felt sick knowing how this episode was going to go.

I can not under embellish how hot the brown haired girl is. The actresses name is Bonnie B something i think. I recognized her from a previous episode. she did a few of them, how she wasn't super famous is beyond me. She is super hot. Super hot. the Blond did nothing for me. The brown haired one was super hot. i looked her up, she did a movie called Hospital Massacre. I need to see that, she s really hot on the front cover of that . Did i mention she is super hot. So anyhow , they reject the guys who want them to instantly marry them, millionaires are falling for them, everyones saying "I love you" or "marry me" without little more than brief conversations, Add that idiot tattoo not seeing how this should play out and then a cheesy ending where the two guys turn out the be millionaires. Cheesy , and stupid and all Superficial, more than Tattoo was able to come off this episode.

The other story was pretty stupid too. A doctor comes to the island hoping to raise 50 million for a medical center named after him that has a lot of computers and lacks the human-doctor element. Conveniently, the board of people that would finalize his idea for funding are on the other side of the Island. But his crappy truck breaks down or something ( i got distracted by my cat) and there's a pregnant woman he has to bring to a doctor and its a risky birth, and her husbands dead , and the doctor leaves and the other doctor is real old and cant do a c section and this and that..... with about 20 minutes to go, my wife started paying attention and asking me the plot of this and i tried to explain and she got confused and i said it was stupid and go back to playing your candy crush or whatever game she plays. She said the newborn was ugly. i said all newborns are ugly. She said our son wasn't and pointed to the picture on the wall. I said he looked like Cam Janssen ( a former devil hockey player with a big nose) when he was born and the new born actor baby is ugly cause he was born in the 70's. the wife then reminded me we were born in the 70s and i said this episode was probably from 1981. apparently i am wrong.

Anyhow, that story was predictable too and he went for being a regular doctor instead of a raising funds one.

I a few things out of this episode. 1. that brown haired chick is drop dead hot, 2. Tattoo is a pervert 3. Imagine if the show had Mr Beleveder from the start. 4. I'm young enough to be the hot chicks kid, but old enough to be older than that newborn, 5. Musical skits were terrible. 6. if you look closely during that on-stage marriage, one of hte back ground dancers looks sick to her stomach at all thats going on.

that 's it. the next fantasy island episode that is on has a lost island of women. I saw a B rated movie in college on that theme. doubt it has the same level of nudity. It doesn't sound like a "go to someplace with a haunted house and covers over the furniture" episode but hopefully it s better than this.
