You know, I sure wish that Bud Anderson wasn't the main focus of a good many of the episodes in this "Father Knows Best" TV series. But, unfortunately, he was.
In "First Disillusionment" Bud is an angry and bitter boy 'cause he got passed up for a stockroom clerk job over a fellow classmate who blatantly lied about his experience on his application for the same position.
Anyway - As Bud learns in the end - "Honesty is the best policy".
