Bud tells his friends Sandy and Kippy that Jim can get Brooklyn Dodger Duke Snider to come to Springfield for an exhibition game.
A pretty good episode, mostly played for drama. Jim somehow gets in touch with Snider and finds out he will need to pay the team expenses to get them to come to town for a charity game. Sandy's father (Kenneth Tobey) offers to put up the money so he can seem like a hero to his son, also he has some ulterior political motives. Funny final scene with Kathy and Duke Snider.
