The Puerto Rican authorities have opened a hunting season against the Condorillo hawks that have been devouring the country's valuable sugarcane crops. This threatens Sister Bertrille who is mistaken as a hawk by hunters. She lands in a tree and spots two Condorillo hawk eggs. She decides to buy the necessary equipment to illegally hatch them. A motorist named Fred (Del Moore) spots Sister Bertrille flying into the treetop nest and thinks she is "an invader from outer space" hatching eggs that will turn into "nun-like creatures from outer space". Meanwhile, Carlos is panicking after regretfully proposing to wealthy Olympic Gold Medalist Shooter Margo Richmond (Stefani Warren) and takes refuge at the convent. When the eggs hatch into baby hawks Reverend Mother Placido allows them to stay until they can be taken to a "sugar-free island". Fred goes to bumbling Capt. Fomento who sets out to investigate the eggs. A rifle-wielding Margo arrives at the convent, putting Carlos deeper into panicked hiding, comically as a nun. Chaos ensues when the plot lines comically intersect.
