In the later years of "Four Star Playhouse", Frank Lovejoy (not one of the original four stars) appeared as the lead in quite a few episodes of the show. "Yellowbelly" is a decent enough one, though I think the script is a tad weak. As usual, Lovejoy himself was just fine.
The story is apparently set in Korea during the war, though it never actually says where the war is. What you do know is that the Captain (Lovejoy) served with distinction in WWII and now is a bit rusty in his new command...and he seems to have lost his nerve. Why and how he'll regain his strength as a commander is something you'll just need to see for yourself.
As I said, I don't think this one is particularly distinguished due to the writing. However, it isn't bad at all...and if you love the old show, it's worth seeing.
