In this episode the circus particularly John Derek have occasion to save a stagecoach from a holdup by some Mexican bandits. Derek decides to go part way
with the coach until he feels it out of danger.
But the coach is captured anyway by Richard Conte. Conte doesn't want money he wants saloon entertainer Constance Ford to be his bride.. The other passengers Robert Harris, Marguerite Chapman, and Neil Hamilton are all snooty easterners only concerned with their own skins.
Conte is a cool and cocky piece of work. Derek and Ford have little use for the other passengers, but they're all in it together if the others don't realize it.
Lots of elements from the Marlene Dietrich classic Shanghai Express are present in this story.
