Hogan and his men have been set-up by a German officer Major Hegel. It seems that Hegel knows all about the operation right down to the tunnels and secret radio. But the nice Major is after much more than just turning the Heroes into Berlin, he is after some reward. Major Hegel wants Hogan to call London and deliver one million dollars in diamonds in order for him to keep silent. Without the diamonds Hegel is going to expose the operation.

Of course there is no way London can deliver the diamonds but Hogan thinks of a scheme where it just may give him some more time. Instead of real diamonds he orders fake diamonds. With the help of Klink this just may give Hogan enough time to either ruin Hegel career or avoid getting shot.

There was a lot of suspense in this episode which always make for a nice show. With an interesting story and a nice script, this show was enjoyable. This is the first episode in season two that lives up to the high standards of the series. Good watch.

I really loves this series, smart and funny, in this episode Hogan's mates are discovered by a Nazi Officer over his secrets POW's net underground and radio message between London's headquarters, but the German officer Major Hegel (Paul Lambert) is willing to negotiate, a million dollars on diamonds to close his eyes of all Hogan's operation, of course a predicable ending, also Hogan make a downgrade to Colonel Klink as a private soldier to able to hear the bribe for himself, indeed a priceless sequence, also has the beauty Ulla Stromstedt as guest star, always has a blonde girl from German side!!!

This is confusing, how can Williams give Major Hegel info about Hogan's Operations when Williams appeared in S3 E10 "One In Every Crowd".and Major Hagel appeared in S2 E3 "Diamonds In The Rough??".
