"Jeannie's Beauty Cream" opens with Amanda Bellows' initial meeting with Tony's fiancée Jeannie, though they previously met in "Divorce, Genie Style," when she assumed that Jeannie was his wife before concluding that she was a crackpot. Their first lunch together concludes with Mrs. Bellows receiving a jar of genie cream, which not only changes Amanda's complexion, it makes her look years younger (Laraine Stephens as the new Amanda). No one at NASA recognizes her as Dr. Bellows' wife, with Roger typically proposing marriage to the pretty girl, but her name badge reveals her true identity to Major Nelson. When General Whetherby (Harold Gould) catches Tony in the closet kissing the beauty he wonders just how 'mature' Nelson can be, with even Jeannie upset at the sight. When 'Amanda' barges in to embrace her husband, who obviously fails to recognize her, the general is aghast: "you old goat, I didn't know you had it in you!" The secret behind the face cream is that it fulfills the wishes of whoever uses it, Jeannie blinking up an antidote to restore her features.

Emmaline Henry and Laraine Stephens

Warning: Spoilers
Laraine Stephens was an excellent choice to play a younger version of Amanda Bellows. In real life, Laraine was 13 years younger than Emmaline Henry. From where I was sitting, they were interchangeable. Two beautiful women. Who was older or younger would have been of no importance to me. Jeannie's face cream makes Mrs Bellows look considerably younger, and that's when the fun starts. Nobody recognizes her, including her husband. Major Healey, naturally, falls in love with the young Mrs Bellows. Who could blame him?! This episode, like some others, offers a lot of physical comedy. Almost non-stop laughs. Great episode, featuring three beautiful ladies. Barbara Eden has to be included, of course!
