This is episode 12 of the 1955-1961 western series that starred Hugh O'Brian as Wyatt Earp.
Wyatt Earp finds himself involved with a baby beauty contest. The local gambling halls are even trying to put the fix in on this harmless event.
Complicating matters is a moneyless mother and her sick child. O'Brian has the local doc, Douglas Fowley, take care of the baby on him. He also arranges for the child to be entered in the baby contest. There is a 200 dollar prize which would help take care of the mother and child.
Also in the mix is Mike Connors as the child's father. He is wanted by the Law for violating the town's no guns law.
Needless to say all turns out well.
A rather weak episode of what has been to this point, a stand up action series.
