Match Game

Warning: Spoilers
It's Mexican Fiesta night on the Pacific Princess. Gopher has doffed his black mustache and donned his sombrero. Ok. Fannie Flagg and Gene Rayburn as a pair of dog lovers is pure catnip for this fan of Match Game. Ok, Gene is no actor really. It's kind of funny how little romantic chemistry they have. But this is great. It's the kind of pop culture pairing that makes The Love Boat so great. 'Are you having a problem with fleas?' Gene asks. Fannie's dog likes Swiss cheese, but not Gene. Isaac sings The Everly Brothers. Newly rich Maren Jensen is fending off advances from Alan. Boy, Maren looks good. She thinks he loves her for the money, of course. Debbie Allen has man troubles, but maybe she'll fall for Isaac instead? Adjust your score if you' never watched an episode of Match Game. (Get out, too.) On Kafka's Love Boat Scale, this episode gets 3 1/2 * out a possible 4 *.
